Criteria for Crime Scene Investigation

The training program has been broken down into seven criteria of crime scene investigation.

  • Initial Assessment
  • Control of the Scene
  • Examination of the Scene
  • Interpretation of Evidence
  • Recording the Scene
  • Exhibit Collection
  • Case Management

Each criteria sets out the general principals of effective crime scene investigations which are broken down into more specific core skills and methodologies allowing the user to develop an understanding of the theory whilst investigating the VR scene.

Understanding of these criteria can be assessed via their responses to a series of questions.
